- Does the free version get worse over time?
- No. The free tier keeps every story, every citation, every source link, follows, and update history. Pro adds extra AI capacity, gold comments and optional profile effects. Banner uploads, colors, bios, replies and achievements stay free. It does not lock away reporting, translation, story updates or conversations.
- Why is there a question limit at all?
- Each answer costs real compute. A hard limit is what keeps the service up for everyone instead of the day's capacity being consumed by a handful of heavy users.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then drop to free. Nothing is deleted.
- Where does the money go?
- Hosting, model calls, and search APIs. We do not pay for the reporting we cite — follow the links and subscribe to the outlets doing the actual work.
