You can read Factliner without an account. If you create one, we store your email address, the topics you choose to follow, and the stories you bookmark. That is the whole set.

No passwords — sign-in is by emailed link or Google. No reading history beyond an anonymous per-story counter. No profile is built about you and nothing is sold.

This site is funded by ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Deleting your account removes your email, topics and bookmarks. Email privacy@factliner.com and it will be done.

Hosting and the database run on Supabase and the site host. Ads come from Google. Outbound links go to the publishers of the reporting a story cites; their own privacy terms apply once you leave.
